Zipments.io is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and maintaining the cutting-edge technology that powers our platform.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with a highly skilled team to design and build mobile and web applications
Manage and configure multiple Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) environments
Develop robust server-side code and APIs
Integrate seamlessly with 3rd party APIs
Create efficient data schemas and manage database(s)
Champion robust testing and QA practices (bonus points for experience with TDD)
Automate release processes for streamlined deployments
Implement and advocate for developer best practices
Work closely with UI/UX designers for a cohesive user experience
Participate in product planning and contribute strategic insights
Manage and deliver assigned features on time and within budget
Occasionally provide technical support to customers

Bonus points if you have:

Familiarity with EDI, XML, and legacy data structures
Experience with a specific BaaS platform (e.g., AWS Amplify, Firebase)

10+ years of experience crafting exceptional mobile and web applications
A passion for clean, readable, and well-tested code
A commitment to quality and a dedication to continuous improvement
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
Strong leadership skills and a collaborative spirit
A deep understanding of user-centric design principles
The ability to balance agility with managing technical debt
Proficiency in a modern web development stack (e.g., React, Node.js)
Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration (CI) pipelines
